So I'm sure Road Rules is "just as real" as your life, right? Well they do a lot of editing so sort of... kind of not really
Some say you may be a bit of a hothead? Is it all in the editing?
Hmmm, well I will admit that I do have a very bad temper and quite a short fuse, but they do blow it a bit out of proportion and make look as if I was holding a grudge or something when in reality I wasn't at all. A lot of people I go to school with told me they saw the show and were shocked to see the way I was portrayed because they said I'm actually a really nice guy.
I see your point; there's a large amount of viewers that think what they see on "TV" is as real as their dinner conversations.
I was in the mall like a month ago and this girl comes up to me and was like... "oh my god, you're Danny from the Gauntlet... you're such an asshole"
Reality TV has become a bit incestuous; with this in mind, isn't it strange that, weeks before going into a gauntlet challenge, all the members of the team are out drinking and partying together. Do you think this adds a unique dynamic to the challenges?
Oh Yeah!... Drinking and partying just makes it ten times more interesting. Imagine putting 32 of the most craziest people with outrageous personalities together while completely intoxicated and you have a raging and maniacal shit show.
...And as much as they strategize to "win" the game, is it safe to say they also strategize how to maximize their scene appearances?
Yeah... take Cara for example: the bitch has zero personality but she always gets herself in the middle of everyone's business just so she can get more air time. It's kind of sad to tell you the truth.
Did you know Cara is workin' her shit at the Playboy mansion!
No! That is all Cara ever talked about while she was down in Tobago... it was a bit frustrating actually. It just got to a point where everyone was like "Shut the fuck up already!" She thinks it makes her special... what she needs to recognize is that standing in front of cameras naked 24/7 doesn't make you special at all. Talking to Cara is like talking to a piece of plywood.
Is Beth just misunderstood?
Sort of... Beth in general is actually a really great person to people she likes, but she does like to stir up drama just for fun (even if it isn't true. )Is she crazy? Yes.
And she seems to align herself with the gays. We love the crazies.
I think Beth is fun... she's honest, straight forward and isn't afraid to speak her mind... plus she always seems to know exactly who to pick out that is really a bitch behind closed doors.
The moments between her and Montana were great. Priceless, actually.
I actually didn't watch any of the show after I left, but I've heard about their drama up to a certain extent... it's hard because I think Montana is a great person too
Alright we're going to play the name game; feel free to take the censor off:
Jeremy: closet-case or midwestern?
Ouch... hard one... I think closet-case because of his mannerisms, but he's a whiny little bitch that tries to impose his beliefs on others. So maybe a little midwestern also
Mark [Long from Road Rules, Season one] is my longtime crush...can we just pretend he's experimented?
I wish. Mark is awesome...very down to earth
Brad - did you see the 9incher?
No I didn't see Brad's member, but I've heard the rumors. I’m not sure if I believe it or not.
Timmy's still got it goin' on, don'tcha think?
Timmy is HILARIOUS!!!!!! by far one of the best people I've ever met in my life. Plus he's still attractive too... so good for him.
Ace and David, well, they're just dreamy (in sort of that dumb jock sort of way)
Ace is the type of guy who is the charmer... he knows exactly what to say to make you feel good. David is just hot and makes you laugh all the time
Who would you say is the quintessential fag hag of the Road Rules/Real World clan?
Katie
Really? wow. would never have thought.
All the gay guys flock to her and she loves it. She's a load of fun.
Since we’re talking about it...any cast member from RW or RR that is gay but hasn't come out on their respective show?
There may be one... but I'm not fully sure, but if it is true I would definitely be all over it. It's just based on assumptions... so it's just from my own observations... nothing certain.
So what's the story with Landon?
He's my crush actually. You have no idea.
Good choice, my friend. I think he's just a big ol' flirt
I agree
Dan Renzi, from Real World Miami is now an uber-blogger; have your paths crossed?
Not at all actually... I've gotten mixed reviews about him... some people told me he's a lot of fun while others told me he was drama queen, but I'm waiting to see for myself... I don't make judgments about other people until I've gotten to know them in person
Any straight cast member get a little gay action at one point or another...now of course you don't have to be directly or indirectly involved. It’s okay to dish on rumors you’ve heard.
Not during my season, but I'm sure it has happened before... I've only heard rumors about other stuff, but nothing I know is certain.
So are you watching Key West this season?
Not at all.. but Tyler was telling me a little about it
Is there a support group current and former road rules / real world cast member attend? Is that how you are in contact with Tyler?
Well we are just a huge family, so we all keep in touch all the time.
Do you think he's a fine addition to the cast of gay cast members?
I haven't personally met him yet so I wouldn't really know... just talked to him on the phone
So you're a senior in college and Wall Street is the street you're hitting after graduation. Do you think your experiences on MTV and in college have prepared for what’s next?
I think it has helped me recognize how short of a fuse I have and will help me learn how to not let things get to me... so to a certain extent, yes... it is definitely an experience that helps you recognize your worst and best qualities.
C'mon back and leave a comment!
